Hosted mailbox on your domain
Works in the Domani web inbox and external email apps through IMAP and SMTP.
API mailbox or free @domani.run address
Use the web inbox, API, CLI, or MCP. These mailbox types do not provide IMAP and SMTP access.
Choose IMAP, not POP. Authentication is required for incoming and outgoing mail.
Never use your Domani account password or API key in a mail app. Generate a separate app password from the Email apps panel.
Names vary slightly by app version, but the account type and server settings are the same.
